S/S Norrland (1837)3D Model
Launched in 1837, the Norrland was a wooden-hulled paddle-wheel steamship. She was the first steamer to maintain a regular service for passenger and freight transport between Stockholm and Umeå on the inlet of the Gulf of Bothnia. The ship was designed by the pionering Swedish engineer and industrialist Otto E Carlsund. A scale model replica was built from the original drawings at the Swedish National Maritime Museum between 1938 and 1942. 3D model created by Adam de Kaminski for SMTM, 2022.
